INCHEON, Korea I July 19, 2019 I Samsung Bioepis Co., Ltd. today announced that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has accepted for review the company’s Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) for SB8, a biosimilar candidate referencing AVASTIN® i   (bevacizumab). If approved, SB8 will be commercialized in Europe by MSD, which is known as Merck in the United States and Canada.
