Company plans to announce topline interim results before year end

SAN DIEGO, CA, USA I October 11, 2017 I MabVax Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBVX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of antibody-based products to address unmet medical needs in the treatment of cancer, today announced the initiation of patient enrollment at a second site, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), in a Phase 1 clinical trial evaluating a new radioimmunotherapy product for patients with locally advanced or metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas (PDAC) or other CA19-9 positive malignancies including colon and lung cancers.

MVT-1075 (177Lu-CHX-A″-DTPA-HuMab-5B1) combines a potent radiotherapy with the tumor targeting specificity of the HuMab-5B1 antibody. Dr. Eileen O’Reilly, associate Director of the David M. Rubenstein Center for Pancreatic Cancer Research, attending physician, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College is the lead investigator for the MVT-1075 Phase 1 clinical trial. The Company’s objective is now to enroll additional patients and report interim results before the end of the year.

Together a total of 50 patients were treated setting the stage for clinical evaluation of MVT-1075, and we expect to announce topline interim data this quarter.”
